I served as technical production director for The Heart Summit for several years for Ron Blome Productions. We regularly had two surgeries and two cath labs going simultaneously with live procedures from the Arkansas Heart Hospital. This was transmitted (originally using satellite trucks, and then using video over IP) to the Little Rock Embassy Suites, the site of the event. We brought the TNDV Television production truck from Nashville, Tennessee, and crew to handle the production truck duties.
